How nice is it for the weather to be glorious nearly every day?! AND with that, stunning flowers bloom, events happen again and warm evenings, perfect to sit around the firepit or go walking in the fields.
For us, we love gardening and I have actually been spending a lot of time nurturing plants in and out of the greenhouse (look at our Dahlia below!!! How stunning is that?!)
My children have enjoyed seeing new flowers emerge, and have been happily watching bees and pollinators on them. We also have had quails and ducklings hatch recently so that has kept us all busy.
Summer doesn't feel like it lasts long here in the UK. Once summer is officially here, the schools break up a few weeks later for 6 weeks, and then the kids go back to school... which always feels like it is immediately Autumn and that Christmas grows closer so much quicker.
Enough with that depressing thought though (well, it isn't depressing but thinking too far ahead isn't always enjoyable), let us enjoy the here and now of the lovely weather- even if we do need some rain- the gathering of families after 2 exhausting years, and gentle evening walks after the hot days. And if you are lucky enough to go on holiday, have a great time! We are still waiting on our passports to arrive so we can escape the country for a week.
With that being said, squeezing in time to make new products may be a little tricky as I celebrate birthdays in between days out with the kids. However. I'm sure they will be inspiring me, especially my daughter who is Encanto obsessed and loves unicorns!
